Wasn't there talk of them buying and developing the plot on the southwest corner of Spadina & Front?

If it is the Lumen sight, I hope that they've kept the same design by RAW.

GO Transit ended up purchasing that site. It is currently zoned commercial, so if GO ever decides to develop it, it will likely be an office building.

According to Adam Vaughan, the City wants GO to act on it and build something.

Passed by some real estate office with renderings bearing the CityPlace and Newton names; the rendering didn't seem to have a substantial difference from the original design for Lumen, though you'll probably see some updated renderings soon :p

Newton is not the re-launch of Lumen.

Newton will be an 18-storey tower at the southeast corner of Bathurst and Fort York Blvd. Design by Page + Steele / IBI Group Architects. 189 units.

The area plan in post #5 above does not reflect the current layout of the buildings on Block 37. More coming soon!
