I've been wondering about this as well. I walk past here every few days and in the summer I always saw construction workers there but ever since the hoarding went up there is never anyone there. This location has been listed on the Denny's website as opening soon for over a year.

What's happening with the Denny's next door, that was a part of this? Hoarding went up, but it appears to be moving so slowly, if at all.

It's not part of this. It's a completely different building that already exists.

There are hundreds of Chinese restaurants in Toronto. Sometimes you just want some greasy american diner food.

The best thing about Denny's is that it's usually open 24 hours a day. The more 24 hour restaurants in Toronto, the better!

the original was funky, weird, rundown and dated--in other words, 100x better than the bland boring nothing burger it has become.

imagine a world where not everything looks like it was made out of mass-produced Identikit parts that are designed to be as generic and dull as possible.
