Looks like Hariri Pontarini also had a scheme for this site:
There has been some protests from local residents. Not sure why since that whole block is nothing but condos/apartments/office towers.
The local councillor Josh Matlow has been mediating and has announced that he's found a compromise between the protestors and the developer. Details to come out Nov 2 in city/community meeting. So it looks like the project is a go albeit with modifications.
Here is the link re: meeting.

The sale of 30 Roehampton Avenue has been reported. This is the parking lot on the north side of the street, just east of Yonge Street and immediately to the west of the North Toronto Collegiate property. The purchaser is Minto. The property is almost square (193 feet x 190 feet), with frontage on Roehampton only.
The sale price was $18,400,000, equivalent to $502 per square foot of site area.
Can you please tell me where you learned about the 18 million figure for the property, I am an urban planning student and I need that information for a project I am working on. Thank you.
