Happy for the density, but I hate that we lost the gorgeous Hamilton Education Centre Building in the process.

It was a pretty nice building indeed, i remember passing by there almost everyday back in the day. Funny I almost found it more appealing than Hamilton's City Hall.

Yup. Hamilton is probably in third place in Ontario (Behind Toronto and Ottawa) for cycling infrastructure in that it actually has a decent network of good quality lanes downtown.. but it’s not without problems.

Curious, could those two open spaces in the first pic be openings for a future ‘skywalk’ bridge across the street to a future McMaster building?

According to architectural plans this area behind those holes is parking, so I doubt it. Likely vents for the parking garage.

^Thankfully I think MacMaster realizes Hamilton doesn’t need more skybridges downtown, which poorly compensate for the hostility of King right now.
