It's like one of those massive Asian urban shopping malls with towers on top.

Oh, mixed with the Hudson's Bay Centre. ;)

The last pic from marcus_a_j makes the podium of the curvy condo at the left looks out of place, in context with MLS and Telus.

Sorry to continue this off topic, but I've always liked the poles and the streetcar lines. I think they add to Toronto's character as a city.
 
In that last pic, that empty lot next to The Port Authority headquarters looks like it could be a nice space for a future office tower.
Oh, there're a few of those in that 'hood that need to be covered.

A friend who lives down there and I always come up with wikkid-fun things that could be built in their stead.
 
I'm okay with the idea of two towers going on the parking around the Port Authority building, but I'd like them to leave it alone.
