Ah, ok! Maybe just the photos, but it looks like a very red orange. I do wish they'd gone for something a little less similar to the Cherry North colour.
That’s how I originally saw it too. But looking closer this one is definitely orange.

I really liked the earlier concepts where there was a purple and blue bridge, dunno why those didn’t work out.

Sorry I didn’t properly credit the original screenshotter, I have no idea how to do image search on the form and had to browse through all uploaded photos.

They went for complementary warm tones over contrast.

I suspect it is partially the result of the photography - have to see it in person to really judge.

There is no change between the Cherry St LRT bridge colures and seen them first had.

I don't who else was tracking the bridge, but I found the info wrong a number of time as well when arrival was to be. Around Montreal the 2nd tug on the rear started to show up that caused be to make some wrong statements now. When the tugs enter Lake Ontario that where things went weir with the rear tug miles in front of the bridge saying it would be here on Tuesday while the other said Wed. At a number of times it was showing a convoy of 3 with different info.

After the bridge reach the turning base, it was turn and tow to the docking bay.

It will be a few days before off loaded and move, but temporary supports are in place for the western section as well the east on Commissioner.

If you stand at the Gate on Valliere you will see the bridge being move to Commissioner once there is a date for the move. You can look through the fence to see the bridge place on the temporary supports and lower onto the piers that will support the bridge.

Its too bad no Feb money is coming to get the other 3 LRT built, especially for Commissioner St while the road is still there before it is dug for the new river. There are photos above showing this area and I also shot it after bridge was place.

Just notice The bridge is orange

What is the timeline for setting the bridge into place, if anyone out there knows?
They have to bring in the movers and set them up unless on site already. 2 cranes will have to be brought in to off load the bridge onto the movers.

It will not be a fast move from the channel to Commissioner St site.

All I know it will take a number of days to set thing up from what I was told.

Monday maybe the move day and someone here may have a better time line than me. I am waiting info now on the move.

For those wondering if the Commissioner's bridge is (more) orange or red. Screenshot from an IG post today. I do think it is orange through my binoculars... but subtly so, and depends on time of day / overcast or sunny !!

I think the red here appears to be more orange than the last first bridge. Though it's hard to tell at times due lighting and how each camera is picking up that colour due to lighting conditions.

For sure! In post #2855, I took a look at this, and linked a video on how lighting and how the camera picks the colour up plays a large part on what you see. I do agree that a lighter orange could have been nicer, but I think the lighting would always make the orange a darker tone anyways because of lighting.

Back filling and road grading is mostly done for both piers for the New South Cherry St Bridge. Excavation underway for digging the New Don River Mouth channel so it ready for the fall delivery of the bridge that will be place into position as the Keating Channel LRT Bridge last year..

The temporary supports to hold the 2 sections for the Commissioner St Bridge while it becoming one piece are concrete columns. Once the bridge is ready to be lower onto the piers already in place, those columns will have to be remove. Then the existing road will have to be dug out to take the river channel to the shipping channel.

First time having a real close look at the site even through I have driven by it a number of times.

Then just make the orange lighter still. There are piles of orange coloured objects about which we don't debate endlessly their colour: construction cones stripes, pylons, the tarps in one of drum's photos above, Pizza Pizza signs…

It has little to do with the lighting, and more to do with how much more red than yellow is in this particular mix.
