Here we go.

First video of a drive across the orange Commissioners Street Bridge, down newly paved Commissioners Street and across the New Cherry Street Bridge.

They are the nicest new transportation architecture in the city in a LONG TIME.

Best bridges by far.

Really just make you smile when you go across them. Such a simple design, but so pleasant.

The night lighting is spectacular. Lemon bridge get on it!

Oh and here is a very confused Apple Maps thinking I'm driving in water.

Villiers Street is now completed pyloned off and fully closed.

Old Cherry Street Lift Bridge is likewise completely pyloned off and fully closed.

Google Maps needs some big time updates.

The fresh smooth dark pavement, wet roads, stunning lighting and vibrant bridge colours make for a spectacular opening!
Well done Toronto. Pinch me.

Apple Maps knows what's up. It's showing all the new openings and closures perfectly.

Google Maps meanwhile is all over the place. Showing old Cherry lift bridge open, showing Villiers open, show Munition St closed. Come on Google get it together.
