It would have been nice if they found a way to incorporate those columns, but seeing this park come together compared to what used to be there, it's going to be fantastic.

While there were some interesting ideas about integrating the old ramp supports, I'm really glad they did away with them in the end. We don't need eternal reminders of our past terrible urban planning decisions. If someone desperately wants to look at some concrete bents for some reason, they can go a block North anyway.
