^Correction: Father ran a successful business and is a career politician elitist.

Anyway, development booms and this project have almost NOTHING to do with political leadership. If anyone were to be given credit perhaps Barbara Hall for the dezoning of the area.

That would be the leader who ran a successful business and isn't a champagne socialist ivory tower keynesian bought and paid for by the elites.

Donald Trump runs an even more successful business. Would you like me to provide some of his "solutions" to the problems the US is currently facing?

Hint: Most of them are entirely impractical.

There are no politics in skyscraper construction. - The reason there is a boom in Toronto is because people (really smart people) are attracted to living in the downtown core. So many highly intelligent people want to live there, that big companies are locating their top jobs in the city. - The politics of what made the core so vibrant can be left or right.

Things evolve because of events on both sides of the political divide.

Here is a little cellphone treat while I was walking out of the subway yesterday:

I love the irony of a Socialist (of the Keynesian, Ivory Tower bent, no less) being 'bought and paid for' by 'elites.' But that's just my $.02.

Wait, Conservatives aren't bought and paid for by the elites? Really? Are the rich and powerful in Canada, lefties? Or should I call them "CHAMPAGNE SOCIALISTS"?

Somebody spends much too much time reading the Sun. lol
