Are you talking about those cool looking cylindrical ones that seem to come with with this tower.

These:

The problem here is not they cylindrical or black, that's all well and good.

The problems are the way in which they direct light (it should always be pointed down, unless you're intentionally uplighting something); there are too many of them, too close together, and they are too tall.

You don't want to light up the sky, that's wasted energy, and bad for wildlife and has no safety value. You want the light, generally, within about 8ft of grade (when over a sidewalk or path), for roads, you typically want higher to allow for truck clearance.

Now that I'm looking at my screenshot in this post............I also dislike the exposed concrete seating, cap it with limestone or granite, that would be much nicer. Or use more conventional benches with backrests.

Very fair point! And thank you for explaining that.

Does anyone have an update on this project? Have they finished the roof’s facade and the balconies? Seems like they’re giving out the final interim occupancy dates soon :)
Hi everyone! I recently purchased a condo at from Line 5 Condos on Broadway (yonge and Eg, Toronto), and I’m looking to connect with fellow buyers. Whether you're new to the process or already experienced, it would be great to share solutions, tips, and discuss any questions we might have. I’ve created a Telegram group to make it easier for us to connect and collaborate. Feel free to join using the link below! I am a new buyer and could use some tips.
