Close-up of those balconies—if anyone is interested:

They are both are crimped, flaring out at alternating ends, and get a diagonal treatment on the glass balcony guards that starts at the crimp, to emphasize it. (I couldn't really tell what I was looking at until we got this higher-res pic in.)
