2 May 2013: Bad shot from OCADU opening last night:

Considering that, not so long ago, this whole area was mostly industrial...having a change over to mostly residential (and new voters, as you say Ramako) is only going to help the case for better transit going forward. Unfortunately, large infrastructure projects take time and get delayed...so we have to be patient. Yet again lol.

I can't help but think of last week's episode of Mad Men talking about the soon to be built Second Avenue Subway - in 1968!

The cladding on Library District Condos is starting to grow on me. I can't wait to see how the Condo District Library turns out. Great shots today yonderbean, thanks for the updates!

I'm not against graffiti persae because I think if you have talent you can create real art... But those tags along the rail corridor are absolutely moronic. A shame too because the patterned concrete is quite pleasant, that is in comparison to just a blank, poured slab.

Probably wishful thinking and it's just for ventilation, but is that a light-well in the bottom right of this image, to illuminate a lower level of the library? :D

Looks like the top of a ventilation shaft to me.

Couldn't agree more!
