Why call them "dippy" if you're not against them? Why state the obvious by saying they they're not "neutrals"? Better yet, why are you implying that neutral is always better? Those "dippy" colours are the only stand-out feature of this building, and I think they look great.

Agreed. The colour is a bit garish but it's surrounded by an awful lot of boring, dull glass and I welcome something that isn't blue-green or blue-gray. There might be better colours for here but for now this'll do fine.

They are dippy. If you like 'em, there's nothing wrong with that. But let's not pretend that these colour combos look elegant and refined. The colours are garish and provoking, and the building will live or die on whether the provoke they bring is your cup of tea.

As for my statement about "neutrals" - neutral refers to a batch of colours, but it also refers to the property of not causing a stir: in other words, people won't feel neutral about these non-neutrals.

As far as colours on condos go, green is a pretty tame choice. There isn't much of a difference between this and the early 2000s era green glassed condos in the area.

Went for a walk today. Cityplace was lively and I actually really enjoyed walking through there!

Edit: Anyone know how to rotate an image on here?

I'd argue that this is the only bright spot in a sea of dull middle grey. It provides relief by breaking up the incredible monotony of the earlier buildings.
