interesting ... thanks for the info drum118~

didn't realise this vacant property (south of the Leslie subway station parking) was to be a development site ... it would certainly be a nice extension to Concord Park Place across the tracks, plus this site would have GREAT subway access (since it abuts the station!)

11 storeys is too short here, unless it's basically an 11 storey podium with 30 units per floor. I'm assuming "here" is the NW corner of Old Leslie and Esther Shiner, of course.

Here is an arial photo of the property.

Purchased December 8th. 2009 by Great Lands for 2 MIL

To be considered by North York Community Council on April 27, 2010:

http://www.toronto.ca/legdocs/mmis/2010/ny/bgrd/backgroundfile-28850.pdf

The proposal is for an 11 storey building with 182 residential units to be constructed on the eastern half of the property at 2756 Old Leslie Street. The building would contain 56 one bedroom units, 86 one bedroom plus den units, 22 two bedroom suites and 18 two bedroom plus den units. The building would have a gross floor area of approximately 14,333m2 (154,284 ft2). 264m2 (2,971 ft2) of commercial retail space is proposed at-grade and the proposed amenity area includes 280 m2 (3,014ft2) of indoor amenity space and a 470 m2 (5,059ft2) outdoor terrace on the roof of the second floor. The floor space index of the proposal is approximately 3.0.

Proposed 11 storeys, 3.0 FSI, 2 levels underground parking plus expansion of surface TTC commuter parking lot ~

There is no need to expand TTC parking lot since 75% of it is empty every time I have gone by it during the day. The parking lot is used by the building accross the street to the point I have seen ppl drive in and walk over to it without paying.

11 floors sucks and 20-30 would be better.

It seems this has been named Leslie Boutique Residences. There is no information yet on Greatlands Corporation's website, but a thread with some info about it has been created in our Real Estate forum.
