Toronto Kingsway by the River | 78.17m | 21s | Urban Capital | Wallman Architects

I spent some time here yesterday and quite like how it is shaping up in terms of planning, massing and scale. The townhomes lining what in other developments might be a cul de sac give it an urban feel. The little park looks to be shaping up nicely. The front building frames the street. Other than cheap-looking materials on the tower, the design looks pretty smart.

No need for the statue to be at the forefront of the site, would have been better situated in the actual parkette. Just my opinion

if this is a public park, I would agree, however, I saw this statue up close and it's a wonderful piece of art that more people should see. In the parkette, few would see it.
 
Some of the early renderings had what looked like an Independent City market (Loblaws banner store) in the podium of the Dundas-fronting building. Does anyone know if that's still happening? There are 2 Loblaws within a few minute drive of here, so I'm not sure that would be feasible for them?

The ultra crappy Humbertown one is thankfully slated for demolition...
