FCP is still too dominant. A few more 200m,+ towers around the core should do the trick.

Bay Adelaide 2 even though not that tall really helped bulk out the skyline

The office tower proposal at Front & Simcoe will add some nice heft to the right of FCP from that angle.

FCP is still too dominant. A few more 200m,+ towers around the core should do the trick.

Even as it is eventually surpassed in height by new condo developments, part of what really makes FCP so dominate is it's large, office-tower footprint. It is very unlikely that we will ever see a tall building in Toronto that size (square footage) again as we transition into the age of the slender supertall. It's looming presence is also helped by its stark white facade.
Loving this distance shots kris, a nice advantage they have is giving a pretty darn accurate height measurement when comparing buildings. It's like real-life skyscraperpage diagrams!

With its grand interiors and bold facade, FCP is a better building than 10 condo boxes clad in spandrels and window wall. That kind of building should dominate, though I'd love to see even more sophisticated towers join its ranks like the Gehry towers or the One.

Seen from just south of Dundas on Bay yesterday evening:

Haha, you got to be kidding .....you'll be surprised of what still can be built in the core,
remember, no height limit if not shadowing NPS
What is physically possible to build in that area is a completely different discussion than whether any supertalls will be built there during our lives.
