Although this may not be a good idea, I wonder if the design will have the possiblity to have buses drive on the elevated structure to get to the Transitway?

No extra signal phase on the eastbound off ramp, but instead an extra phase on the westbound off ramp, which doesn’t have an extra straight route.

Other than a few trees, all the other ones have red circles on them to be cut down and that a shame. Haven't seen one transplanted as plan to see if they can be move to another location.

Based on view of the current plans for moving the LRT from the center of the road to the west side of Hurontario, this is about the location where it will take place south of Sq One Dr. Can't see it being elevated since there isn't enough room to raise it starting at Robert Speck to keep it under 5% grade. This mean the line will be at grade crossing 2 major roads.

Crossing Sq One Dr will be as close as it can be to the existing sidewalk at grade and will require traffic to stop further to the west to not block the tracks. Going to need crossing gates at this location if tracks are at grade.

The line is to swing from the west side of the new 403 LRT bridge between the 403 and the 403 on ramp. One hope its elevated and has to be to get over the eastbound 403 off ramp. Enough room to get down to grade before Kingsbridge at 3% grade.

From Robert Speck to Square One Drive, it's about 175m. If you move to the West side of Hurontario South of Speck, you could elevate in this distance.
The extra ~250m of elevated track would add maybe $25M.

None of the existing ramps are to be touch from what I have heard.

The line at Sq One will move from the center to the side at this time where I have noted. To do what you want would require another set of lights for the southbound lanes.

To deal with traffic issues at Sq One Dr and across Hurontario, going to need gates because how drivers drive in the city in the first place if at grade. We will know better when the contract is awarded or Metrolinx tells us sooner than later.

Rathburn is already lower as require to have the grade started there to get over the over ramps to the north as well do the curves to get from Hurontario as a T connection to get to grade for the Rathburn line to Station Gates stop.

If the northbound Robert Speck stop platform remains on the south side of the intersection like the existing 103 stop, there ought to be enough clearance for the guideway to elevate into the T intersection as depicted. I didn't draw the through-section for clarity but this should work.
