Rather devastating for the purchasers. (Was Windmill Development this far along with Union Lofts when they were forced to refinance?) Is Concept Lofts being forced to refinance here? Anything less than that would mean their termination is unconscionable.

the Developer could not provide occupancy by the occupancy date due to “unavoidable circumstances” and elected to terminate the purchase agreements

Is this similar to what happened at MuseumFLTS? http://urbantoronto.ca/forum/threads/25370/

Also, not being able to provide occupancy by the final firm occupancy date isn't really a valid reason to my knowledge. I thought that in these instances, the purchasers have the option to back out of the agreement, not the builder?

Why did they change the color? The color of the "stucco" and also the color of the framing for the doors and windows. I don't know why they would use white.

Any detailing and expectations of the original rendering are long gone. Everything that could go wrong with this ill fated project has gone wrong. From the never ending delays, fire, and terminated purchase agreements from 2018. At this point, these hacks are just trying to mish mash whatever they can put together for the cheapest options possible.

The church conversion from hell continues.

Looks like CoStone Group are the new developer and have revived the "Sanctuary Lofts" moniker again.

Located at the intersection of Bloor and Dufferin Street, the historic Dufferin Street, Presbyterian Church has stood for almost one hundred years. The church was designed in the early 1900’ by local architect William R. Gregg and has become a recognizable landmark along Dufferin Street due to its “Collegiate Gothic” architectural style.

Today, the Presbyterian Church will be converted into 14 authentic lofts and honour its past by bringing in new life. Quiet residential streets and lush green spaces including Dovercourt Park, Wallace-Emerson Community Park, and Dufferin Grove, create a welcoming, safe and established neighbourhood for you and your loved ones to enjoy.
