Never realized how many beautiful old walk-up apartments lined that stretch of Vaughn. Only a handful of streets like it in Toronto, I like the scale and consistency. I imagine the few parcels of remaining SFH will make for future redevelopment candidates.
 
I frequented this area a bit more during my high school days when I had some old classmates around these parts but yes, Vaughan Road and nearby adjacent streets like Raglan, Claxton, and Bathurst combine to becoming an interesting pocket node of density. Collectively it has quite an urban residential feel, with further growth underway especially on Vaughan Road and Raglan.
