They're interesting townhouses. Some of the largest units have 4 indoor floors plus a rooftop terrace with a mud/storage space. I presume it's the largest practical building without internal hallways and emergency stairs.

Anyway, if they're 4 to 5 floors of concrete then a crane saves a lot of time throwing around forms.

The area is only short of a couple hundred brownstones and old walk apartments or so.
