None of the properties are on the heritage registry. 79 and 81 Shuter look pretty old though.

hm, so we know it's older than 1975, but I wonder how much older. 1890s? And I like the hippie in the window playing the bongos, or whatever he's up to staring at the camera.
 
79 is a nice building and would probably fit into the development easily. The other two don't look very remarkable but that's just my opinion.
 
I actually like 81. It's different and should have an interesting story. 79 is great. 83 looks to be the disposable one.
 
I like all three and I particularly like that it's a complete block (albeit a short one) with buildings from the same period. That's something worth preserving. Fixed up, I think these three would be quite the stunners.

If a tower built over the existing buildings requires a modern entrance, it looks like there is space for that off Mutual Street.
