I think you are correct. Would be interesting to see if the style of windows changes when they do the next two floors, assuming they will be housing mechanical units, and when they get to the residential floors.

I’m very impressed with the steel panels. I haven’t noticed a single repeated folded pattern in each of the panels and curious on how many unique panels will be installed on the entire building once it is completed. I’m happy that they didn’t cut cost by using just a limited number of individually-designed patterned panels from a design and production standpoint, which makes for a predictable wallpaper-like facade treatment which we see in some buildings.

Unfortunately, the repetition is already apparent. You just don't see it easily yet, in the vertical panels, because the first floor has taller vertical panels than the floor above. Once they move to the 3rd and 4th floors that use these panels, it will become way more visible. I am guessing they have 12-16 vertical panels and horizontal panels.

Or maybe it's me. I'm cursed. I've done web design almost 27 years now and I have had to play this modular game on dozens of heavily textured webpages.😅

I almost feel bad to point it out because you (generally) won't be able to unsee it but it's there. Sadly, this is what I see when I look at anything like this, my mind instantly looks for the repetition 😑 and there is even more but these are the obvious ones I picked up right away...

I’m typically pretty OCD when it comes to this — I can spot repeated pattern planks on laminate flooring or veining on a man-made marble or stone.

At least here the repeated patterns are not that frequent and arranged thoughtfully.
It drives me insane when I see bathroom tiles with the identical marble veining pattern laid side-by-side which stands out like a sore thumb, and screams fake. I’d guess tile setters don’t really care and lay them out straight out of the box. I even see this in some very expensive high-end homes.

Thanks Brad for pointing this out. It will be interesting to see it as more of the panels are installed.
 
The panels also don't do it for me. The repeating nature doesn't jive with the "crumpled" randomness of the concept. I find it unsettling as well that there's no relationship between the waves on the panels. I expected that the windows would appear to by "punched" out but instead the panels have no continuity. It matches the latest renders, but I'm slightly disappointed with the whole thing.

I'll be making a diagram for all of the skyscrapers U/C in the GTA soon.
 
I've been involved with a lot of structural fab work over the years. Jig design and manufacture costs $$$. You aren't going to create a large quantity of variance if only to few skyscraper enthusiasts notice. I would say generally we are lucky to have this tower, and so far, it's looking impressive compared to the norm in this city for high rise residential construction.
