I've been trying to peek inside when the doors are open a bit while they are working on the space. I think it will be all dark woods going for an older look.

I see equipment for brewing beer in the southernmost third of their space, so I guess that would be a yes.

No idea, but I also don't see a space that they could do that on that is level and not the road.
Pretty sure those are all garage-door style windows which will turn the interiors into exteriors in good weather.

Was just in Dublin, and so many of the laneway pubs used casks similar to those in the photos above as surfaces for standing outdoor patrons. Think this could be kind of cool here.

Barrels...? You cant drink outside in Canada , without it being roped off, safety signage,, fencing, security teams, more warning signage, warning lights, security fencing, caution tape, concrete barriers and potentially four walls and a roof, to ensure that the youth will never know what transpires in these spaces.
In the end the barrels are for added security - hidden inside are undercover agents, waiting to bust you for drinking in public.
