Toronto Emerald Park Condos | 128.92m | 40s | Bazis | Rosario Varacalli

Here is one for sunnyraytoronto to add to his collection of subway entrance sign photos. I think he has taken four or five since they started digging.

Presotea put up their sign. Someone should tell them to raise it higher like the maze hair salon. did so it's not blocked by the outside roof cover

Raising the signage high like The MAZE will make it more visible to car traffic and those further away. The Presotea signage is slightly under canopy level,... but very visible to street-level pedestrian - who are probably more beneficial than those just driving by.

Here's some shots of the PresoTea signage,... behind the glass and in places a bit broken up so hard to read,... one image shows the contrasting street address signage places onto the exterior glass and TTC signage space on exterior of building,... but I guess these are non-store signage so they're allowed to be placed on the exterior. So then how about that 1.5 year old "LCBO Opening Soon" vinyl signage placed on the exterior window.

Thanks UncleMeat,.... but where will I be able to store them all?,... there's been so many delays! My storage locker is already full of Bazis' broken promises! ;p

The TTC Sheppard-Yonge southern subway entrance at Poyntz Avenue has been closed since June 2014,.... original opening was supposed to be "early 2015", then "end of July 2015", then "February 2016",... then realize it's totally useless to put any date signage up!,..... then "late August 2016",.... now "late October 2016". Well,... I'm still sticking with my February 2017 TTC entrance opening forecast.

Interesting how the group station manager's name disappeared from the signs lately. Michael Sosedov is still the manager but his name is no longer used.

I think that this collection of signs tells quite a story. Maybe something the Star would be willing to write a commentary on.

Tim Hortons is officially opening at Emerald Park! The reported ETA is in about a month. This confirms what many of you have already suspected and is welcome news in what is shaping up to be another high profile addition to this condo development. Has anyone else heard of any further developments regarding the LCBO and Metro?

News update....I've just been informed that Jim Mantua can provide an update on the status of Metro. He is the Vice President of Real Estate for Metro and is responsible for corporate expansion and new store development. His email is jim.mantua@metro.ca and his phone number is 416-234-6113. Feel free to reach out to him to inquire on the highly anticipated opening of Metro at Emerald Park.

At this point, I'm willing to bet that Metro will never open at EmeraldPark,..... anyways, attached are photos of the Metro,... err, I mean 2nd floor retail supermarket space,... the last time this space was used was in the Spring when the developer-builder was using the space as a staging area for the plumbing work. For the last 6 months, it's been deserted and empty,... not even a hammer in sight,.... nada! These photos were taken quite recently,... as one of them show the progress of the demolition at SheppardCentre Cineplex frontage. If you're familiar with the area, from the neighbourhood in the background you'll notice that I'm showing image of every part of the supermarket retail space,.... Also included is a picture of a banner,.... showing all the companies involved in construction of EmeraldPark.

A month is probably a bit too aggressive,.... judging from how long it's taken for some of the other EmeraldPark Yonge Street frontage stores to open shop once they started renovation. That said, the TimHorton is combining 3 units and has a very good general contractor (Conarch Group) who seems to be making good progress so far,... anyways, I'd be ecstatic if they open by Halloween so I could get my TimHorton Halloween donut! But if they take too long so that I'll only be able to get a TimHorton Christmas donut,.... then I won't be so "sunny"!

The subway connection continues to be moving at a snail’s pace. Since the last update, they’ve managed to tile a few floors and stairs (still not complete), add the steel vent cage in the subway tunnel, and install a few signs. I don’t know about anyone else, but the tiles their using in Emerald Park are hideous
