Toronto Ellie Condos | 105.76m | 31s | G Group | Kirkor

With regards to the hotel component, has this been confirmed? There's a Novotel on Park Home Avenue already, I wonder if this area can support another hotel. I've been to the Novotel for a seminar and it wasn't exactly jammed.

I'm just wondering since the Hotel and the condominium are separate buildings. Will the residents in the condo still be asked to fork out higher maintenance fee to subsidize some of the cost from the Hotel?

Because usually in Mixed Hotel/Residence condominiums the maintenace fee are generally higher. Wondering if this project will be an exception since they are two totally different buildings. any thoughts?

Looks like Centrium is coming to market soon based on info posted by Anthony in the Real Estate Thread

Here's a picture of some of the layouts

The deposit structure hasn't been released since there's not price list yet. Looks to be 24 floors and about 240 units in total. So it's a small condo compared to some of the massive projects like Gibson Square.

^ Attempt #2 after the design review, perhaps? It's hard to be sure without seeing the full thing at street level, but it's virtually identical, so perhaps not. I hope they coordinate somewhat with the development immediately south of here...could get crowded with towers and horrible podiums.

It is a bit of a bizarre spot for a hotel...not very close to any tourist attractions, not that close to the highway, etc.

Not that add ... a small hotel might do fine ... compared to the hotel proposed north of Hi-way 7 and Yonge I think it's in good shape.

Although both might work better the most think, a lot of visiting relatives might not want to stay with family if coming for an event of some sort. Anyway, I'm not liking this quite yet ... hopefully this isn't the completed design.

I think neither look that bad, definitly prefer the hotel portion, which has some interesting things going on, including a smattering of varied windows and is that a fin at the top of the hotel? Not too bad for NYCC!

This sounds like another unknown 'one project' builder ~

Makes me wonder how reliable this project will be?

Centrium (NYCC, 5220 Yonge, Centrust Dev, 10 + 27s, Kirkor)

who is the builder ??

It's Centrust Development (according to the brochure)

Found this Korean article (translated by google), it provides more info on this project ~

Apparantly this is a Tridel joint venture with Centrust Developments ... TWM could you please confirm ? :)

some of the language translation does not make sense, I tried to edit it a bit

Rendering

A full rendering including the street level that I found :

Those are the same images they used in the brochure.

Does anyone know if there is any progress with the Sales Office?

Whether due to higher rendering quality or a slightly tweaked design, the new podium seems a bit better, but still dreary, needlessly chaotic, and likely doomed to ruination via poor finishes.

The rendering is also cute in how it cheats on the angle depicted and hides the presence of a large apartment building immediately behind the proposed condo.
