I believe this tunnel is going to be mined to Mount Dennis station. Too short of a section to bore and no way to pull the TBMs out at the other side.

I used the word tunneled to mean "in a tunnel" (in contrast to elevated or at-grade).

11 and 13 Hollis Street to be torn down for a "laydown area" for the Eglinton West LRT extension's tunnel construction.
15 Hollis Street is the location for a 48 story, 583 unit condo development. So that's why 11 and 13 were not bought by Gairloch Developments. See https://urbantoronto.ca/database/projects/15-hollis.45655 . Wonder if after the construction, what will happen to the property? A park?

AFAIK Mx is just leasing the land from the developer during construction.

No idea if this has to due with the LRT extension that will effect both TTC and miWay as well what for.

If it were me, i'd disqualify WestEx since they involve 2 firms with the current Crosstown mess (Aecon, and AtkinsRéalis -aka SNC Lavalin), and Trillium Rail since it involves the walking disaster firm known as Acciona.New RFP launched for the "Stations, Rail and Systems (SRS) package".

In honour of that RFP being issued: an update on the Scarlett Portal:
Tunnel wall construction continues and (not in photos as there were workers whose faces would be in the picture)) the walls of the actual portal are nearly finished

You prefer they left the ground bare for ~4 years? They don't even start creating detailed designs of the stations until Summer 2025.
