I wish I had had a camera with me for the shot of the swans, rather than merely my cell phone.
Here you go, these are from today. :)

The area can become a complete community if the Christie lands are developed well and the recent news about Allies and Morrison are encouraging.

@Keyz, at the risk of turning this thread into UT’s nature in the big city forum, do you have any shots of the beaver that occupies the ponds? I saw it last night but not in a situation that would make for a decent photo.

The mechanical component on the shorter tower is soon to take the curve shape
the taller tower still has approx 50 meters to go, it's going to look like a beast in a sea of blue:)

By the way who remembers this first proposal from almost 10 years ago
Finally, someone chose a real architect to do something on the waterfront...

The magical beaver! Got so much love for him! Always comes around at the best times!

Our runty one's been having another growth spurt of late.

This nice feller, with three open lanes to choose from, decided to honk at me as he passed as I was causing him a second's delay. I's much obliged to him for not runnin' straight through me!

To be fair... streets and car lanes are not areas to stop on and take pictures, no matter how many lanes there are. You could have easily waited until it was clear of cars before snapping them. I would have done exactly the same, more so to be honest. People need to learn to abide by the rules, whether as a pedestrian or a driver.

Well…

1) That's not a street, that's a driveway, internal to the shopping centre.
2) I was standing there composing the shot when it was clear, before he turned into the lane.
3) Don't be an impatient jerk when you're driving.
42) Lard knows I's a handful!

I hate that bloody plaza. Nightmare to drive, walk or take transit to.
