Those balcony cladding design is horrid looking. It’s not aligned properly , cheap quality material take a close look typical of Empire shoddy design and
Construction.
I previously bought and sold at Beyond the
Seas. Same disappointment in final finishes

Design issue : Having vertically crossing down the cladding would definitely block views. Makes no sense for lighting and views for each unit.

Construction issues : Panels are not matched up properly with gaps that make the “design” off. Take a look at the west facing side of building. Will they correct it ?? Most likely not ! Empire should be wanting to make this building shine as a beautiful structure but their follow through is impossible. They sell misleading photos and renderings. Same as Beyond the Seas “Star Tower”.

Another construction issue : Lack of quality of these panels. Not only do they not align properly they are made of cheap quality aluminum as many are already dented.

Poor execution of two towers that should have been the jewel of our area.


Still love Humber Bay and glad we are in the area but not in shoddy construction !

I don't think there's a need for excessive criticism. The design is iconic, the building is coming along great, and the developers should get the benefit of the doubt considering its still very under construction. Perhaps it's being held to a higher standard but it's above and beyond other developments in the area.

This is not EXCESSIVE CRITICISM it is a statement of fact. The finishing details are most important to make a building “iconic”. This building in the process is a clue that it won’t be finished properly and when compared to other buildings in the area looks sloppy to say the least. Take a close look and also compare to the Mattamy or Great Gulf construction completed. This is not just excessive criticism it is a statement of actual facts !!!

lol don’t know about that...... Definitely the height is something to talk about and ends there but the bookends are still number one in Humber Bay .....Palace Pier buildings to the East and Grand Harbour buildings to the West. That’s who takes a major dump on the existing buildings in that area !!!
