My pleasure! Progress is happening so fast, making me more and more interested. I'm also getting a lot of exercise from biking to different stations.

View from the east:
With the colourful supports removed, it's clear how bleak this place is going to be:
One good thing about this project is that they didn't include a small sewer pipe to drop poop on pedestrians as they walk by and under. I think it's great that pedestrians are given such consideration!
All in all, it's just another pre-formed concrete panel in the wall.

Anybody know why the wall curves up and is that much higher in the bend? I wonder if it’s a crash protection element? Also I do think there is some planned lighting and other design elements that should help to improve the interest level here but unsure if that only is taking place at Queen and North of Queen given there isn’t as big a community push for what is presently a heavily commercial zone. I haven’t seen renderings of eastern ave anywhere but lots of Queen and the new station and surrounding parks at Queen and above…

...likely the angle where a train can be most volatile if it suddenly derails?

The rendering shows it as a barrier next to the track opposite of the platforms. Not sure what purpose that would serve? Sound?
