Above, we see that substantial completion on the public space/parkette and the stairs down to The Beltline had been achieved.

Almost 10 months later........neither have been opened to the public.

Amazing/disgusting ... .fine line.

Thing is.....even if one accepted the absurd delays in getting the line open, the @#$# stairs to the Beltline are in no way related.......they're done, they're structurally sound, just open them!

The situation with Mount Dennis GO station seems similar. It's a concrete platform with a shelter structure. Finish it and open it up for service, even if the LRT line isn't ready yet. Give the long-waiting residents and businesses some relief from the construction.

Caledonia GO station should have also been built by now. The fact that they can't even open the GO stations on time, despite their simplicity relative to the LRT line, is like salt in the wounds for locals.
 
The fence is down around the parkette! Only the station building is fenced off now.

EDIT Aug 1: Forgot to mention, the fence blocking the stairs to the Beltline Trail is also down.
