KPF is nice, but not quite in the league of those two (though Foster is getting rather corporate)

The renderings package include one of Yonge street facade - it was a relief to see it handled correctly.

Completely agree. If the outcome of this roller coaster is the saving of the heritage (and non-heritage) buildings and a street dimension that works, it will have been worth it.

I understand what u r talking about but I did some search on YSl 2 days ago for like an hour or so, and since then I have done more search on java and virtual machines, for my uni...…. assignments but I dont see any ads related to java, virtual machines or database.
 
I like that the balconies are only on the sun rise side (east obvi) but the west side will look like a big pink/ orange blade at sunset.
 
The north and south elevations will have balconies as well
 
It appears by the render that the two more modern looking buildings on Yonge will replace the four buildings in the red box in the image below. (Image Credit: Google Street View)

Those two look fairly beyond help. The XTC building didn't seem to be much of an improvement preserved...
