There's no height reduction coming—that has already come. They're only releasing the first 68 floors for the moment, that's all.

they have to wait 2 years from the zoning by-law coming into effect to apply for a variance - a rule that was not in effect when Aura was built. So no.

Besides it's a wedge - you can't add floors on top without changing the angle of the slope - and doing that would wreck the design.
