99% of the buildings in that pic didn't exist 20 years ago and about 1/2 are less than 10 years old.

Boy I'd love to see that Union Station shed roof get finished better than it is.
You mean they're finished???? Good grief, they spend billions and multiple years and that's the rail shed they've signed off on? I guess we'll have to go through the typical Toronto process of building things a few times before it's done properly. 2040, 2050, 2060? 41 years will just fly by I suppose.

We've already rebuilt Union Station like 5 times in Toronto's short history.

That view has changed a bit over the last 10 years; don't think I'm telling any tales out of school...
I moved down here 12 years ago. At the time we were the tallest building in the area, I could see Humber Bay, the Exhibition, Bremner to Spadina, SkyDome all of the CN Tower and all the bank buildings to the north, Metro Hall, east to the Don River, Tommy Thompson Park and the Hearn Plant. Now I'm boxed in and have a very limited view of anything other than glass. However, for now, I can still watch the sugar boat arrive at Redpath. I guess it's called progress 🤣
