From where I come from it means games emulated by third parties, legal or otherwise...Besides being a large flightless bird, what's an EMU?
...never heard of it in the context to construction or development though.

Electric multiple unit train - starts and stops faster than locomotive hauled GO trains. Was imagining these bad boysBesides being a large flightless bird, what's an EMU?
I’m still curious what the back panel of the Yonge St bridge will look like. Renderings show only a small portion of visible glass to the south /tracks. Less is more. We shall see. This last photo gives a hint of what we could’ve had (could still have?) if the train shed had been rebuilt in glass. Imagine watching EMUs glide over Bay Street from up the canyon…sigh, one can dream
If you mean the new pedestrianised area between CIBC2 and the Dominion Public Building, it will be a while before we see that as it clearly cannot open (or open fully) until they do their work on the DPB and there's no sign of that (whatever it finally turns out to be) happening soonI am now reminded that there will be a significant retail component along with a snazzy new east-west street here. Between this and Union Station a whole new shopping/eating district has appeared almost overnight!
As far as I know, most of the space belongs to DPB and why would anyone spend money on landscaping what will be a construction site? The DPB conversion will happen in next 5 years, patience. As a neighbour of this building, I sure hope they complete the hardscaping between CIBC and the Dominion Public Building. Who knows how long the redevelopment of the DPB will take!

That may be, but I do recall the renderings showing nice hardscaping right up to DPB. If it is just a matter of pavers to finish it off, the CIBC developer may do it to enhance the public realm of their development. The cost would be de minimus considering the budget of this project. As far as I know, most of the space belongs to DPB and why would anyone spend money on landscaping what will be a construction site? We shall see but part of the attraction of this new area will be the retail in the base of the DPB and, last I heard, Larco (the DPB developer) are keen to move forward sooner than later. That may be, but I do recall the renderings showing nice hardscaping right up to DPB. After some sleuthing of all the photos of this project (there's over 9,000 posted in this thread so far) I found one posted by @mburrrrr back in October 2023, I believe of the elevated park level. They might be the best source for other floors.Hi all, some of you that also post in the Union Station thread already know but I’m currently doing a personal project mapping out all of the Union Station Complex area; all current and future areas of the station:

I’m sure it’s already well understood here that both CIBC towers will be further integrated into Union (officially I’m not sure but will definitely be regarded as such) when the potential eastern PATH extension and the accompanying Union Station Yonge Street bridge are opened, as such both towers will be included in my map.
Does anyone have or know where I could find drawings of the second level of the north tower, and the level that’s connected to the elevated park? I have the first floor but I couldn’t find drawings of any other ones.
I looked on the AIC page but the project is no longer listed there, if anyone could help it would be appreciated!
