In this shot (taken around 11 am), she's a black beauty. But the upward-facing facets catch the sky, so the rising diamonds patterns should get even more interesting with time.

Looking forward to the diamonds climbing higher to get the first sunset reflections too. I think the downtown core hides the glass from the sunset at the moment.

Upon completion, I think this building will be one of Toronto's most photographed structures. The glass and its reflection of sunlight, cloud patterns and sky will be magnetic to photographers!

From this angel, CIBC square especially the second building will fill the gap between financial district and South core so well

All that glass can look washed out in direct sunlight, however you can also see in the subsequent photo how a change in the lighting can make all that glass really shine.

Came here to post about the Pedestrian bridge construction but someone beat me to it. The weekend of Aug 31 seems problematic to me as it's Labour day long weekend, CNE, Air Show, etc will make traffic a headache without a major road shut down.
