Perhaps it's been asked before but curious as to why those particular columns are slanted? Seems logical to have them straight like the others.
Appreciate any insight! Thanks
 
Those columns are designed to be like that. A couple floors below, the corresponding columns are slightly further in towards the core. They are angled like that so they can meet the columns which are further out a couple of floors above.
Here I posted it as he got number of pages back wrong. I was curious as well.
 
With the absence of vertical supports over the track, maybe they could be installing them diagonally from the concrete wall to the existing deck?

I believe you're correct. If you look a few posts back you can see the easternmost beam has quite a cantilever to it so they are likely setting it up to be free of any more trusses.
