Since we're talking GIFs...here's the final (and full) GIF for the CIBC Square (Phase 1) drawings and the still timeline. This has been a lot of fun and I'm blown away by the support! Hope you've enjoyed it and look forward to seeing all the other drawings grow!

What appeared to be a section of a large vertical art piece in the north part of the lobby area...visible above the lobby hoarding near west entrance to terminal.

Tower needs a good scrub, but otherwise looking good.

I saw a GO bus on a video coming from eastbound Harbour that turned onto Bay northbound then got onto EB Gardiner ramp.

In the top photos up above it looks like they're showing lime coloured backhoe etc. dismantling the GO bus station? If so does anyone know if they're prepping it for the second phase development ?

The (former) GO bus station is no more; yesterday all that was left was the westerly building with the elevator to Platform 3. The announced plans are for excavation to start in early 2021. See Post 6230 one page back for announcement/

Even if it does fall into a civil war, it will unlikely have any bearing on phase 2 being developed. If it tries to re-enact the War of 1812 though, it might be more of an impediment on this project...

I think it's time to update the completion of CIBC Square from 2022 to 2024.

Should there be separate blog for the second tower starting with the information on the previous page ? Now that it's about to commence in two months!

They both fall under CIBC Square, I don't think that's necessary. I believe the initial 2022 completion date was intended for both towers. But due to the pandemic and other delays, it's being pushed to 2024.

Widen the sidewalk on the right (next to Scotiabank Arena) 10 feet, plant a row of trees between the road and the sidewalk, and this 1 block stretch will start reaching its potential. Better yet, extend the widened sidewalk (and trees) south under the Gardiner all the way to Queens Quay.
