Hard to believe it's been 5 years ......

…and 13 years since this thread began! Check out page 1 for the first proposal on this site that elicited "what a load of John Hancock"! Check out page 10 for the 2009 proposal that followed. Wylie Poon tried to make more sense of it on page 13, while on page 15 @Batman declares that the new Toronto coach terminal will be built here with the help of his Bat-Spectro-Wave-Analyzer and that really got people talking… which Metrolinx finally confirms in Oct 2012 on page 27, and then Ivanhoe Cambridge's plan finally start to sound like something. This was such a long gestation this one, but boy has it ever been worth it!

Who knew we'd go from the one tower to a "four" (two) tower build with a raildeck park and a world renowned architect to boot!

A closer look at the corrugated metal decking filling in the centre section ceiling of the mechanical level. The temporary lighting generators allow them to quietly work late into the night.

A better look at the elevator and emergency stairs that will serve the low rise building on the eastern half of the site one more pour to complete the tower

Construction Notice

Dear neighbours,

Please be advised that our contractor will be undertaking work to dismantle part of the tower automatic climbing system formwork on Sunday, August 11th, between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm. This is a highly sequenced operation that is required for the core formwork and tower crane interface. As a result, our team plans to work on Sunday to complete this work as expeditiously as possible in support of good worksite safety. The work is not expected to produce significant noise.

We thank you for your patience during this operation.
