Yes, it was a screen. Hasn't operated in about 5 years.

Yes, I asked about that and he said they're sticking to their original design. I guess it would just delay things even more if they changed it again right.

Actually, when I look at the two pics at the top of this thread I'm not sure which one they're going with. The reno or the re-clad. I asked if they were going with the original design and he said yes but I guess that could mean either one. Guess we'll find out in a couple of weeks.

Sooner or later they will need a Building Permit - that may have some info.

As per my memory, it was already looking a bit yellow-brick grubby by the early 1970s.

Excellent news - though I wonder if there are plans to update the building in a more sensitive manner.
