The interlocking is halfway up the west side. The final bits of cement for the south side sidewalk of the laneway is being poured tonight and there are blinds in a bunch of the "salmon suites".

Was brick laid there previously? Or they ripped up the old stuff?

It used to be rather crappy regular City sidewalk.

It was poured cement. Apparently, they are redoing it with interlocking and trees.

Based on what one of the crew told me, they tore all that up, then put cement down, then realized that they were going to put trees and interlocking, so it all had to be torn up again. So, they waited until the construction elevator(s) came down to start ripping it all up (again).

I’m still waiting for an actual Shoppers coming soon! Sign to go up before I fully start believing. But I did walk in Front the other day and felt the Northwest retail space had much higher ceilings that would work for a Shoppers. Surprised to hear (maybe not geographically) that the Shoppers would be in the smaller looking space on the east side.
