I too would hope that Vox 'blox' this unfortunate garbage.
It's the unfinished concrete on the box that gets me. I don't mind exposed concrete when it's part of a coherent design, but on Chaz it just looks like they forgot it. They clad all of the exposed columns, so I don't get why they haven't bothered with the box.
I live south of the building and the lighting around the rectangle common area has NEVER worked.
I know this thread died a year ago, but this has been bugging me for a year. I live south of the building and the lighting around the rectangle common area has NEVER worked. It started with one section out, which was annoying enough, but now there are a few sections out and some that change colour at different times then the majority of lights. For a new building it is ridiculous and it is an eyesore. If you are going to have a light feature, at least make sure it works or leave it off until you can get it fixed. I'm hoping that Vox is just high enough that it blocks my view of Chaz...
It may have been turned on, but I don't believe I ever saw it functioning properly either, or maybe it managed to just on the day they installed it. Obviously it's going to be an expensive fix, but yes, they at least need to turn it off!I haven't paid attention to it for a while, but I definitely recall seeing it functioning on numerous occasions in the past in many different colour schemes.
I wouldn't want to have the balcony directly above that, (and I wonder what living immediately beneath it feels like too…
better than *some* builders. I've seen them literally leave exposed concrete forms up. The wooden plywood kind, hanging onto the side of the building, a year after the building is completed. Like they forgot it and were too damn lazy go get rid of it.

Meanwhile, I wonder if crap is piling up on top of it. This is how it looked from above last December…
