The latest Forum poll has the Liberals leading the NDP 47%-39% with the Tories collapsing to 11%, just above the level needed to get their deposit back!
Looking more closely at the 537 people sampled, 84% were over 45 and 58% say they voted Liberal in the last election and 18% said they voted NDP. 30% of these Liberal voters say they'll vote NDP.
So it's a poll very much skewed towards higher-income, older people and people with landlines. Yet it's a very young riding and they're more NDP-friendly. Thus Linda McQuaig is doing very well and could pull this off. We'll see soon enough I guess.
