I don't know much about LV, but hear it caters to people originally from rural Ontario who also happen to unanimously love Toronto FC. So that would make sense!

LV has a postage stamp-sized park serving such a large area of people who use it as a dog park (there are lots of dogs there), not only that it doesn't get much light from the canyon of condo towers surrounding it, so that is why the grass doesn't survive well there.
This area is more open and spread out so hopefully it won't get the same use and abuse as LV.
 
I found this old rendering on Waterfront T.O's website. Same building, but with some actual colour which we never got. Which one do you like better?

Red brick. Precast is fine, just please some more colour. The red brick on the One Park Place podium in Regent Park lightens up the whole area. The overuse of grey and black makes the building feel monolithic and heavy.
