Brookdale Centre Redevelopment: a proposed multi-phased, mixed-use residential, retail & public space development designed by Turner Fleischer Architects for Tribute Communities on the south side of Kingston Road, east of Dixie Road, west of Liverpool Road and north of Highway 401 in Central Pickering.

It would be incredible to see a bike path built at bare minimum across the wetland to connect over with the north GO station entrance. If it was up to me and I had no budget, I would do a bridge over Liverpool and the 401 to connect with the west end of the platforms and the southern station entrance. It would take so many cars off the roads around here which are already choked at rush hour.

Liverpool rd has planned winding including cycling infra; in addition, Walnut lane extension will have a MUP on the north side. GO also has a project to build a better connection (pedestrian ramp) connecting liverpool and the station (project ON-LSEPKGO-03), of which I hope they add cycling connections... Especially that all cycling facilities at the station are near this location.
