With every passing day I am more and more starting to believe that we simply cannot have nice things in Toronto…. Beautiful interlock stone goes in and weeks later the city paves over it with black pavement. Ugh.

Looks like a gas/utility hookup, probably Enbridge (not the City) at the request of the developer. I'm sure the interlocking will be replaced. The sidewalk.... probably not for a long while.

To be clear my comment wasn’t about the developer who has already relaid the nice stone they laid down it’s more about how city contractors have been given carte blanche to pave over whatever they want under the guise of safety and that “they’ll be back” but they NEVER do come back. After the stunning stone walkways and benches and tree planters went in on Bloor street they paved over an entire city block of it just east of Yonge and have never gone back to redo the work that maybe had a 2 month life as a stunning walkway and has now looked like crap for the last 2 years. Ugh

i went for my inspection today & unfortunately the builder did not live up to expectations. For the price we paid they did not deliver. The interior finishes are low quality for thr price and those renderings of those beautiful floor to ceiling windows look nothing like what they actually built. Im o pissed off right. now tbh.

Oh no! Pls share pics and get ready to submit claims to Tarion. Tbh having bought a couple new condo builds they literally never deliver what they show unless it’s Tridel
