Directly underneath the east-west driveway in Edward Skira's last photo shown above is the underground pedestrian tunnel between Sorbara's Beacon & Menkes GibsonSquare (to the south) connecting both developments' P1 Commercial Parking level (ie: full public access!); this photo shows the underground pedestrian tunnel (built around 2014 as concrete shell) from GibsonSquare looking north at Beacon,... all they did recently is painted the concrete shell,...

I'm disappointed, all they did was slap on some paint (where's Sorbara's fine Italian craftmanship?),.... whereas the nearby undergound pedestrian tunnel between Menkes GibsonSquare & NorthYorkCityCentre is covered with nice tiles!

TD Bank,.... they’re loosing their TD Canada Trust branch at nearby 5400 Yonge due to redevelopment there; so area isn’t really getting a new branch,... just a bigger branch.

Although that brochure shows a cafe at northern corner,... I can’t find anything on it yet,.... but I see a Haven Salon along south side - opening next week???? Well, maybe later,....

Photo from couple weeks ago of the Section 37 Community Benefit - interior retail space along north side conveyed to City for a St.Lawrence Market type project - the 4 retail segments/stalls to be built as full kitchens

Near the City's Section 37 Community Benefit northern side - the closest retail space on Yonge frontage (see bright yellow covered windows south of 5200 Yonge Office Entrance) was previously reserved for another cafe/coffee shop but they bailed - this retail space will now be for Lucullus Cafe - a very good Hong Kong style bakery https://www.lucullusbakery.ca/ Now we know retailers for all ground floor retail space outside of City Section 37 Community Benefit St Lawrence Market.

Snippets from Local Councillor with regards to "NY Square" the Section 37 Community Benefit space at 5200 Yonge - the 4 retail stalls along the north side:

"The leases, which come with a fully-equipped kitchen, are available for up to two years, after which time successful operators will hopefully be able to rent other space in which to continue. The program is only for independent new vendors with products not currently offered by existing restaurants in the immediate area."
"In addition to food service equipment, leases will include water, hydro and taxes. Successful applicants will also receive assistance and training in operating a sustainable business and selling directly to the public."
"The space is tentatively scheduled to open in August."
