Walked by today and noticed that the lobby is now open and the "welcome tenants" signs are out. Nice and airy on the inside, just like BAC West. Still lots of construction though.
When I walked by a couple weeks ago, the sidewalks had some issues. The stones didn't line up properly with the round plastic utility covers and were causing major tripping hazards. I hope they are able to fix this.
Now if only they'd cleaned up Ice on the street level this quickly...
I'm really happy with this building, personally. It's not inviting me to evaluate the ontological status of aesthetic norms, but it's some solid filler.
will the faux windows on the southern-most yonge street heritage facade be replaced by real windows when construction is complete? why did they do it this way?
