Toronto Backyard Neighbourhood Condos | 24.99m | 10s | Empire | Kohn

I bet they are so relieved, it must be nervewracking to buy off the drawing board, how many years ago did they imagine themselves in their brand new homes! How many life changes have the experienced waiting to move in? Good luck and God Bless!

From mid-August. First, shoring equipment onsite to prepare for the condo #2 excavation, then how condo #1 looks with the gardens in:

Just to the south of the commercial quarter of the site, there's been something very lightly sprayed on the ground. It's so light, it almost looks like a reflected light pattern, but these dots mark out the route of a trunk sewer down below, and the reason that there was a green space left here during the redevelopment. Does this mean they're about the dig this all up? Another case of utilities never getting their act together to time major maintenance with private construction? I hope not, but I'm wondering what other reasons could be for the markings. Anyone?

South Etobicoke has been a host to quite a few plumbing enhancements over the past couple of years:

The "triple black pipe bypass" is the signature look for such improvements. Just speculating here, but the markings in your photo look just about the right size/spacing for another such triple black pipe bypass.

I wonder! Those pipes have been a huge mess on that off ramp and on Park Lawn…) Hmm, maybe Grimes' newsletter has something…

We could have enjoyed a champagne and caviar picnic if you'd been a little earlier. Next time.

(Someone's got to take over @UrbanShocker's abandoned role here.)

You have a finer taste in delicacies than me, sir. But as it happens, my backpack was full of wine and cheese from my run to Cheese Boutique that day :)

Anyone shopping up the Cheese Boutique has some kind of culinary clue, so no apologies required. I actually timed my photo run to put me at the SanRemo bakery for lunch grub (there was no actual champagne picnic), so between you and I, we covered the best foodie hotspots bracketing the area on Saturday!
