Apologies for the atrocious quality, but I must say, the tallest tower really sticks out once you drive westbound upon the 401. Not as noticeable as the NY Tower development perse, but still fairly hard to not see from the corner of one's eye, here's a quick shot from what you may see on the highway(The tower is the one on the right, this photo does it NO justice whatsoever:

Work underway on the third level of Trio according to this update from Tridel: http://www.tridel.com/blog/3rd-floor-being-formed-at-trio-at-atria/

April 2017 Construction Update

The concrete pour for Trio at Atria is on the 3rd floor for Building A and continuing on the ground floor for Building B. The precast which is the exterior skin of the building, and brick work will begin in May. The curbs on the ground level are in the process of being completed and prepared for water proofing.

The podium is topped and the crane was removed this weekend.

THAT's why it looked different today when I drove by. This is turning out to be a nice development. That podium will contribute lots to an otherwise desolate streetscape.

It's sad that all other projects in that area are probably on hold pending new secondary plans. Probably will help reduce Section 37 payouts though. Not sure if that's a good thing either cuz That area needs some money.

Here's about 8 weeks worth of construction since drum's post above:

This development is just the start of what this stretch of Sheppard needs for there to feel like there's any community here, but the suburban scale embodied in the seven-lane width of the road will always present a challenge to that.

Windows being installed on the 7th floor at Trio

January 2018 Construction Update

The concrete pour for the Trio at Atria tower is complete up to the penthouse level, and the installation of precast, or the exterior walls of the building, is on the 11th floor. Windows are currently being installed on the 7th floor of the tower and on the 5th floor of the podium. Rough-ins, for both plumbing and mechanical, have been completed up to the 3rd floor of the podium and will commence shortly for the tower.

January 2018 Construction Update

We hope you are having an enjoyable New Year! Excavation for the Parfait at Atria community is now down to the P3 parking level. Structural caisson work, which will provide the base of support for the building to sit on, has started and our Construction teams expect to begin pouring concrete in February.
