I would LOVE to see that police station bite the dust. It's always been on of my least favourite buildings in the city!!

Uh, the station at Dundas and Simcoe is 52 Division. That station, sadly, isn't going away unless the city makes a big land sell deal that makes building a new downtown west station worthwhile.

54 Division is near St. Clair and O'Connor in East York, 55 Division is at Coxwell and Dundas.

Not a bad idea - I hope OCAD snap up or partner with a developer for it. Perhaps we will finally get the plaza in that case.

The space in front of 52 Division along Dundas - which we thought is going to be one of the facilities proposed to be merged under the TPS reform proposal, but wasn't. Said space was meant to be turned into a public plaza of some sort but there had been no movement on that file.

More public space, taller buildings evened out, larger diagonal cut through the site. Interesting evolution. A bit messy / jumbled, but interesting nevertheless. Also seem to be channeling a bit of QRC West / 25 Liberty with the tree-column...

Call me impressed. I don't have the slightest problem with the messiness/jumbleness. The slab is slightly awkward, but it's a minor complaint.

It would be interesting if they continued that diagrid pattern over the mechanical level

I'm not convince on the public areas or the retail for that matter. It is a different neighbourhood from the days of the Village by the Grange by it's not anywhere near a major street.. The podiums could use some refinement. Overall, it's pretty impressive and hopefully will satisfies some of that need for architectural art.

What a change from that awful BMO building that's even worst on the inside.
